Parish Path Liaison Officer (Parish Path Liaison Officer)
As a Parish Path Liaison Officer (PPLO) you will volunteer with Somerset Council’s Rights of Way team but also be involved with your local Parish of Town Council. This is an important local role where you will help us respond to issues on your local network, whilst ensuring the local community is kept up to date with what is happening on their local Rights of Way and across the county.
The PPLO role is held by lots of different types of volunteers – some are nominated by the local council, sometimes as part of a wider highways or committee role, others approach the Council directly though adverts like this one! Whatever your route to taking on the position, you will be supported by the Volunteer and Trails Officer who will endeavour to get you linked up, and supported by, the local council as well.
